The Immersion is a private two-day couples retreat in Chicago— Somatic desire work, AIRE ancient baths, couples massage, a Michelin-level diner, and an afternoon on a private charter on Lake Michigan. Limited to six couples. Founding rates are now open.
From Saturday morning arrival to Sunday afternoon departure. Every element of the immersion is sequenced intentionally- to take you somewhere you can’t get on a regular weekend, no matter how nice the hotel is.
At the center of the retreat is a private one-hour somatic core desire integration session with Mayra Chaidez —
held inside AIRE while your bodies are warm and the noise of your lives is already far away.
This is the work that gives the entire weekend its depth and direction.

Day One — Arrive. Go inward.

Couples arrive independently to The Hoxton.
Your room has been prepared — a handwritten note from Mayra, a lit candle, and your weekend guide on weighted card stock.
The afternoon is yours. Rest, walk, be together.

Most couples know what they want intellectually. Fewer have learned to feel it — to locate desire in the body, speak it without apology, and receive it without flinching.
Somatic core desire integration works below the narrative. Through guided body-based practices, couples identify desires that live beneath performance and habit — the ones that, when honored, reanimate a relationship.
This is not therapy. It is embodied exploration, held with care, precision, and deep respect for each couple's pace and privacy.
At 3:30 pm, your cohort gathers at AIRE — one of the most extraordinary wellness spaces in the country. Inside a private space within the baths, Mayra leads a private 1:2 one-hour somatic core desire integration session.
This is not a conversation about your relationship. It is an experience of it. Through body-based practices, you'll locate desires that have gone unnamed — beneath the busyness, the roles, the habits you've both gotten good at. You'll speak them. Your partner will receive them. Most couples leave this session feeling closer than they have in years.
The thermal environment of AIRE is not a backdrop. It's part of the method. Warmth opens the nervous system. Candlelight quiets the mind. The work lands differently here.

The session closes. The waters open. An hour in AIRE’s thermal pools, salt float bath, steam rooms, and cold plunge— just the three couples, no public access. Champagne.Silence. Whatever just opened gets space to breathe.

Still inside AIRE, each couple moves into a private room for a
60-minute side-by-side massage. Bodies are already open. This is touch after truth — the nervous system receiving what the session uncovered. AIRE has showers and lockers on-site, so you can get ready for dinner without breaking the spell.

Day Two — Open up. Emerge.

Rooftop Breakfast
Sunday is slower. The cohort gathers on the rooftop terrace— open air, city below. Mayra closes the retreat with a brief integration reflection. Your final gift is revealed. A champagne toast. Then the water.
12-3 pm
Private Charter— Lake Michigan
A private boat, exclusively for your six couples. Three hours on Lake Michigan — the skyline behind you, open water ahead. This is the exhale. After two days of going inward, this is what it feels like to come back up. Drinks, provisions, and crew are all handled. You just show up and feel free.

Mayra Chaidez is the founder of PleasureFWRD and a somatic embodiment guide working with high-achieving couples and individuals navigating intimacy, desire, and relationships.
Her work sits at the intersection of the body, desire, and relational depth —helping people move out of the mind and into lived experience, so that intimacy becomes something felt, not just thought about.
She founded PleasureFWRD because she kept seeing the same thing: accomplished people who had built everything — the career, the partnership, the life — and still felt a hunger they couldn't name. Her work goes beneath the surface. Using body-based practices rooted in somatic psychology, Mayra helps couples locate what they actually want — not what they think they should want — and find the language and the courage to ask for it.
She has worked with couples across Chicago and beyond. The Immersion is her most immersive offering — a full two days where she is present, available, and fully focused on your cohort.

You are always in control of your own experience. Nothing in the session requires you to share beyond what feels right. Mayra creates a container that is warm, boundaried, and explicitly consent-forward.

Every couple in the cohort has either been personally invited by Mayra or referred through someone already in the PleasureFWRD community. Cohorts are curated — not just for privacy, but for compatibility. You will not be in a room with strangers who feel random. That said, you don't need to know anyone. The experience creates its own connection and privacy.

Tickets are non-refundable within 30 days of the retreat date. Before that window, a full credit toward a future cohort is available. If PleasureFWRD needs to cancel or reschedule for any reason, you will receive a full refund or priority placement in the next cohort -your choice.
