About Mayra—
Mayra Chaidez is the founder of PleasureFWRD and a somatic embodiment guide working with high-achieving couples and individuals navigating intimacy, desire, and relationships.
Her work sits at the intersection of the body, desire, and relational depth —helping people move out of the mind and into lived experience, so that intimacy becomes something felt, not just thought about.
She founded PleasureFWRD because she kept seeing the same thing: accomplished people who had built everything — the career, the partnership, the life — and still felt a hunger they couldn't name. Her work goes beneath the surface. Using body-based practices rooted in somatic psychology, Mayra helps couples locate what they actually want — not what they think they should want — and find the language and the courage to ask for it.
She has worked with couples across Chicago and beyond. The Immersion is her most immersive offering — a full two days where she is present, available, and fully focused on your cohort.

Day One — Go inward.

Couples arrive at the immersion hosted in partnership with a curated luxury Chicago hotel.
Upon your arrival, your room has been prepared — a handwritten note from Mayra, welcome gifts to support your immersion, and your weekend guide on weighted cardstock.
The morning is yours-no agenda until your session time. Rest, walk, enjoy your luxury stay, and be together.

At your appointed time Saturday, you and your partner arrive at one of the most extraordinary wellness spaces in the country — a candlelit converted warehouse in River North featuring ancient thermal baths, salt pools, and steam rooms. Inside a private room within this space, Mayra leads your personal somatic core desire integration session.
This is not a group experience. No other couples are present. The door is closed. The hour belongs entirely to the two of you.
Through body-based practices, you'll locate desires that have gone unnamed — beneath the busyness, the roles, the habits you've both gotten good at. You'll speak them. Your partner will receive them. Most couples leave this session feeling closer than they have in years.
The thermal environment is not a backdrop. It's part of the method. Warmth opens the nervous system. Candlelight quiets the mind. The work lands differently here.

The session closes. The waters open. Thermal pools, a salt float bath, scented steam rooms, a cold plunge — the entire space held exclusively for the six couples, all Saturday. No public access. Champagne moves quietly through. There is nothing to do but feel.

Still inside the same space, each couple moves into a private room for a 90-minute side-by-side massage. Bodies already open from the session and the waters — this is touch after truth. The nervous system receives what the session uncovered. Showers and amenities are available on-site so you can get ready for dinner without breaking the spell.

No two couples share the same restaurant. This is where The Immersion becomes entirely yours.
Before the retreat, Mayra learns about you — your palate, your aesthetics, what kind of room makes you feel most alive. She uses that to hand-select your Saturday evening destination from a curated roster of Chicago's finest tables — spanning Michelin-recognized dining rooms, intimate tasting menus, Mediterranean rooftop terraces, and candlelit Italian rooms with river views.
The reservation is made. The menu is set. The wine is chosen. A note from Mayra is waiting at your table. You arrive and make zero decisions. The evening holds you.

Sunday opens slowly at the hotel's celebrated on-site restaurant. All six couples come together — many meeting each other fully for the first time. Mayra closes the retreat with a brief integration reflection. Your final gift is revealed. A champagne toast. Then the water.

A private boat, exclusively for your six couples. Three hours on Lake Michigan — the skyline behind you, open water ahead. This is the exhale. After two days of going inward, this is what it feels like to come back up. Drinks, provisions, and crew are all handled. You simply show up and feel free.

Mayra uses that to select your restaurant from a curated roster of Chicago's finest tables and arranges the reservation, menu, and wine pairing in advance. You arrive Saturday evening to a table already set and a note from Mayra waiting. No decisions required.

Every couple in the cohort has either been personally invited by Mayra or referred through someone already in the PleasureFWRD community. Cohorts are curated — not just for privacy, but for compatibility. You will not be in a room with strangers who feel random. That said, you don't need to know anyone. The experience creates its own connection and privacy.

Tickets are non-refundable within 30 days of the retreat date. Before that window, a full credit toward a future cohort is available. If PleasureFWRD needs to cancel or reschedule, you receive a full refund or priority placement in the next cohort — your choice.
